Book Review: REASONABLE DOUBT by Whitney G. - Giveaway

Genre: Erotica Romance
Publication Date: 16 September 2014

My cock has an appetite.

A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar...(Although, that's a story for another day.) As a high profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.

My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.

At least it was, until "Alyssa"...She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.

But then she came into my firm for an interview--a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed...

Wow. Just. Wow. This book was amazing, I FLOVED IT!! Such strong, memorable, and exceptional characters with a story that was incredibly addictive and sexy. So much so that I devoured it too quickly and I couldn't get enough of it by the end. And that was all Andrew Hamilton's fault because who in their right mind could ever get enough of him? Nobody, that's who! ;D

“You know,” she went on, “for a high profile lawyer, you have a pretty dirty mouth.”
“You’d be surprised how much filthier it can get.”
“Filthier than what I’ve already experienced?”
Much filthier.”

So who's Andrew Hamilton? Well, after reading this book I discovered he's the asshole of my dreams. LOL. Yes, Andrew is an asshole in this story and I loved him for it because that's exactly what made him HIM, so unique, and irresistible. He's a crude, condescending, and arrogant bastard who's all about what he wants which is usually just straight up sex. Being a very successful lawyer, he's used to getting his way but even sometimes he has to work a little harder to make it clear to women that all he's looking for is: "One dinner. One night. No repeats." It's during one of those "hard-working" times of his that Aubrey Everhart enters his life as one of the interns in his law firm. The attraction is unstoppable and he feels completely drawn to her gorgeousness; however, almost immediately he realizes that they already know each other and so their "professional" relationship begins on heated tension and lies...

“There was no justification for what she’d done, but before I cut her off, I needed to make her pay for lying to me, and I needed to figure out how.”

These two were incredible together! Andrew and his asshole-ways really had no limits so he constantly had me gasping and laughing so hard at the many inappropriate things that would come out of his mouth. I absolutely loved his confidence and how he never gave a damn about how he would be perceived. He only cared about getting his point across as rude as he sounded. So with a hero like him, a heroine with a strong backbone was needed and I was so happy to see that this story totally got it. Yes, Aubrey was awesome! She wouldn't take Andrew's shit so easily, she would give as much as she would get from him even when she couldn't resist him most of the time. And that challenging personality of hers was just one more reason he couldn't stay away from her making him break his self-imposed rules.

“I was completely insatiable when it came to Aubrey, and being around her for more than five seconds was enough to send me over the edge.”

Their relationship was fiery, dysfunctional, and so intense that I couldn't get enough of it. That plus the humor and the layers of secrets they shared, made this story beyond amazing to me. Reasonable Doubt has to be one of the BEST books I've read this year for sure and even though I wish I had read it sooner, I'm more ecstatic I finally read it regardless. This erotic, succulent, and highly addictive story is without a doubt a must-read from me. If you've been waiting to start this serial or are just finding out about it, please do me a favor and read it. You'll thank me later! ;)

“Andrew was the epitome of what it meant to be an asshole, a shining example of what that word stood for, but no matter how pissed I was, I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about him.”
