REVIEW

5 FREEING LOVE STARS!

And the One Night Trilogy has now come to an end with the release of Unveiled but let me tell you right from the start, this final installment and the ending that it delivered were complete perfection to me! Yes, I couldn't be more pleased with how the story unfolded and how secrets became truths, how darkness met the light, and how this passionate love eventually became a beautiful forever that almost seemed impossible but not anymore. Since the very beginning, Livy and Miller's story has been a journey of mystery, seduction, need, and total devotion but in this final book all those elements get amplified making it an incredible reading experience for me. Moreover, Unveiled made me very happy also because it ultimately gave my dear characters that perfect freeing love they were always fighting for and deserved so much.

“Our one night is now one lifetime. And way, way beyond that, too.”

This book picks up right where Denied ended so there's still tension and a lot of uncertainty surrounding Livy and Miller. For a while they've been trying to escape Miller's dark world but as this book unfolds, it gets harder and harder for them to ignore it or even pretend that they won't have to eventually confront that world if they want to stay together. So there's this constant worry throughout the book where Miller wants to ferociously protect Livy while Livy is afraid of loosing Miller to people and powers she doesn't yet understand. And to add to all that tension, later on Livy's past makes a comeback to haunt her and complicate things even more for them. More so that as much as they try to stay focused on each other, at times the pressure feels like too much that they fear it will actually break them. . .

The cracks in our existence are gaping wide open now. There’s no hiding from the cruel reality we need to face. The chains. Escaping them. Being on the brink of despair as we face our demons. I just hope we clear those cracks when we leap and don’t fall into the blackness.

But it doesn't! These characters fight and fight until the very end for each other and that was just wonderful to see. Even in all the chaos they always find a way to love each other deeply, to prove the other that the fight and wait is worth it, and that as long as they have each other nothing else matters. I truly fell even harder in love with these characters' love by the end of this book. Their passion and devotion for each were just so captivating that I loved every moment they were together. Miller in particular blew me away with his protectiveness and vulnerability towards loosing Livy. It was really fascinating to see him change over time from that pristine and perfectly put together man to a hero that was still perfect in his own imperfections but now he was truly in tune with what he wanted and needed in his life.

He breathes in deeply and holds my eyes. “No, sweet girl. Now I have a fierce passion to live. You've given me that passion and not even the devil will stop me from having my eternity with my someone.”

The dynamic between these characters also changed with this final book, I felt. As Miller became more in touch with this emotions, Livy slowly became a stronger character and that totally changed their relationship but for the better. In this book they constantly challenge each other with Livy no longer just accepting decisions made for her, she's now a woman eager to resolve issues on her own and show Miller that she's more than ready to fight for him. I really loved her fierceness even though at times it complicated things further but I knew that her actions always came from a good place. And Miller knew that too very well and that's why he treasured her sass and her antics no matter how crazy they drove him sometimes because at the end of the day, she just made him immensely happy.

“You are my soul, Olivia Taylor. You are my light. You are my reason to breathe. Don’t ever doubt that.”

I loved this book! It was everything I hoped for these two amazing characters. The passion, the suspense, and all the fun this story has brought me since the beginning were really enhanced in this last book. And that's not even including the epilogue! Omg, that epilogue was so beautiful, touching, and just down right perfect for Miller and Livy. I truly loved it! ♥  If you haven't had the chance to read this series, I so encourage you to go and start it right away because this story is just too captivating, romantic, intense, and exquisite to be missed.

“I have a request. Never stop loving me, Olivia Taylor.”
