Have you guys checked out this book?! I have it in my TBR list and I can't wait to read it! THE OTHER SIDE OF SOMEDAY is the first book in the Carolina Days series and it has gotten awesome reviews since its release. I have an excerpt so you can have a taste of this story and also a giveaway for a chance to win a signed paperback! ;)

Falling in love? Courtney Grayson has been there, done that.

Men, who needs them? Love wasn’t everything she thought it would be. This time around she’s doing things differently. She hasn’t sworn off men for good, just isn’t interested in settling. Trusting someone with her heart again? Someday, but not today.

Falling in love? Sorry, Clay Bradshaw is not the guy for you.

He’s never been in love and he doesn’t see it happening. Hooking up can be fun, but more often than not, women are a distraction he doesn’t need. He’s a busy man, and doesn’t have time to date, let alone fall in love. Will someone ever change that? There’s always a chance, someday.

Life doesn’t always go as planned, and love may find them both on the other side of someday.

“You are so beautiful,” he whispers against my skin.

It had never felt like this with Mike. I don’t want Clay to stop but I want more. I need to touch, kiss, and learn every nuance of him. Hands firm, I push him; and like putty, he moves under me.

“Clay,” I gasp.

I’ve never seen him without a shirt before. My fingers leading him he rolls to his side, his back to me. I knew he had a couple tattoos. He told me of their existence that day we had lunch in the back of his truck. I haven’t thought of them since. The artwork covering his back is unreal.

“How long did it take to get this?” My fingers trace the monster on his skin.

He shifts further, onto his stomach. He keeps moving until his head is in my lap, his arms circling my waist.

His lips brush across the skin above the top of my slacks. “A long time.”

He’ll have to tell me later I think, stretching my legs out under him. Another button freed, his fingers easing the zipper down as our eyes stay locked on each other. I fall back, my head hitting his pillows, as I lift my hips so he can undress me.

Simple cotton underwear is now the only thing covering me.

I reach for the waistband of his pants, sitting up to kiss the contours of his abs as I unfasten his belt.

His hands move to help but I push them away wanting to do this myself. His fingers weave through my hair. He gathers it in one hand, holding my hair back so he can look down at me as I undress him.

Limbs move to assist me and before long his pants land on the floor. He’s on his back, looking down at me. With fingertip caresses, and my lips lingering as I taste his skin I crawl up his body. His eyes widen, holding my gaze, as I brush my cheek up his hard length.

“Fuck,” he hisses.

In an instant, I’m pinned beneath him, his hard length pressed between my legs.

He kisses me hard, pushing against me. I open my legs wider, grinding into him, my fingers fisting his hair.

His eyes are hooded when he breaks our kiss and stares down at me. “I’m going to tear you apart.”

“Do it,” I pant.
